Dr James Ross BVSc (Hons) MRCVS
Principal Veterinarian
|
|
|
Hailing from a strong farming background in the central west of NSW, James was accepted into Veterinary Science and graduated in 1997 from the University of Sydney with Honours. He then worked in a mixed animal practice for over three years in the Southern Highlands of NSW, where he met his future wife, Amanda.
James and Amanda then headed over to England, and after a year of working in a busy small animal practice in the North of Kent, they returned to Australia in 2002 and settled in Mosman.
James spent the following six years practicing as a vet within Mosman, developing a strong affinity for the pets and owners of Mosman and the Lower North Shore region.
In 2009 James developed and opened The Barracks Vet Surgery, a brand new Mosman Vet practice, scenically located at Georges Heights, with the aim of providing a unique, high quality veterinary experience for the pets and owners of Mosman, Cremorne, Neutral Bay & the surrounding suburbs of the Lower North Shore.
In November 2010, James and Amanda were blessed with the arrival of a son, Harry James.

Tors Graham
Nursing and Reception
|
|
Victoria Graham is better known as "Tors". Born and bred in nearby Cremorne, she originally studied graphic design and worked in the film industry. Travel and work took her to Samoa, Easter Island, Thailand, Europe, South Africa, the Philippines and USA.
Mistreated animals made an impact on her, and she consequently directed some of her graphic design skills to supporting animal charities. After raising two children she undertook a second field of study as a vet nurse, and is delighted to join the team at The Barracks. She has great respect for animal rights, great compassion for the human-animal bond, and looks forward to bringing her best to the care of your animal family members.
Linda Dillenbeck
Veterinary Student
Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Linda moved to Australia at a young age where she grew up on the Central Coast of NSW. Her whole life she has been surrounded by dogs, cats and horses, riding competitively for seven years.
Her passion for animals brought her to Sydney where she is currently studying for a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney. In early 2009 Linda's concern for the care and welfare of animals took her to northern Thailand where she volunteered at a sanctuary for injured and abused elephants.
